I absolutely loved this dryer up until three weeks ago when the inside door glass shattered for no reason. There was nothing sharp heavy or anything. Just a load of clothes on the smaller side. Customer service was less than understanding or helpful until Sheena a presidential liaison call me back. She was understanding and very helpful in helping me fix this.

I bought this and was very impressed with the size. However shortly after using it a couple months I got the error code 80 which states that there is no airflow. I have cleaned out the the inside of the dryer paid a professional $1500 to clean out my air vents. The code went away for a while but came back almost immediately. I have checked the connections from the fryer to the wall everything and nothing works. The dryer still performs as stated but I hate haBing that error after every dry

We have gone from dryer to dryer. Always breaking down to small not drying and not good quality. We finally dropped the big bucks on this dryer. We will never look back. Its been worth every penny. It completely dries clothes. Even huge loads It has like a million awesome settings the quality of the machine is outstanding and its pretty.

When it was delivered and set up no one told me I had a two way door. Pleasant surprise Its super quiet and I love the chime at the end when Im close enough to hear it It would be nice if there was a volume control for the chime. I could use it louder because of where the laundry room is. I have used several settings for drying clothes and it hasnt failed to impress me. I love this dryer

Owned less than 2 months and the the big test is on durability and maintenance down the road. I bought both washer and dryer. Nice features Quite as a church mouse. Uses very little water clothes come out of the washer just past damp so they take less time in the dryer. Dont you need water to wash clothes. Evidently not. LG figured out a way to do it with soap and air. I think LG did a nice job with these products. Will definitely look for LG Dishwasher and refrigerator when they need to be replaced. I think you might be paying a little more but quality always demands a premium.

My husband purchase a combo washer and dryer and Instaview refrigerator for our new home in February 2019. Was so excited to receive my first touch screen appliances and make life easier with our ever-so-active toddler. Anyways it has been a pleasure from day one- such and ease to use with the excitement of my toddler looking on to hearing all the beeps. We even made up words for a song with the time played at the end of the dryers cycle and also the washers. He sings along with me. I have no regrets having my husband purchase your appliances and of course he has asked for numerous feedback on all of the LG appliances we bought. Will recommend this anytime and my dryer and washer are so silent I can wash anytime of the day without disturbing a sleeping baby

I normally do not do reviews but if it helps someone to make a decision i will this once. I am highly satisfied this dryer. It dries the clothes very quick and is quite. I bought a GE washer first then decided to upgrade the dryer and base on the reviews I went with this LG model instead of a matching GE dryer because it will dry your clothes in less time. Set on auto sense and normal dry it will dry your clothes in 40 minutes or less.

Weve had this for close to a month now. Got the washer/dryer set and theyre beautiful. The sensor settings dont seem to sense the dampness very well because the clothes are always still wet. Seriously every time theyre still wet. Even when I change it to very dry. Now I just set it on time dry to avoid the sensor. Also not a fan of the lint filter. Its not very easy to clean out but Im sure it does a great job of keeping the lint out of the dryer vent. I love the fact that the door opens two ways but it takes some trial and error. So far only a sock was sacrificed by getting pinched in the hamper style way of opening. It was so stuck that I couldnt open it the conventional way and had to rip it out. Luckily it was only a sock. The hamper style works well for loading the dryer and conventional works best for unloading. Overall still glad we purchased this one but whats up with the sensor settings.

Brought recently so I havent tried many cycles. I like the results Ive had so far. I bought the dryer matching washer at close-out sale out of box as is. The lid was broken so we got repairman to order the parts to fix it. The screws are plastic have snapped again. Weve spent over $100. The tray that lid covers is not involved with operation of dryer so we will not purchase a new one. If our lid isnt defective than type of screws need improvement. The washer dryer are superior to any weve used.

Great features - but took 2 to get it right

Bought this from a local appliance dealer/ retailer. Was delivered n set up. Upon putting the first load in to dry it immediately started making a large banging noise and then smoke started coming from the back. Immediately shut it off n unplugged it. Store replaced it a few days later but QC at LG was not what I expected from their company. The new dryer works great large drum flexible controls and easy loading and unloading. But have your delivery person turn it on before they leave.

We bought this dryer from Lowes back in March of 2018. The dryer drys clothes very well but seems to have either a bearing or rock inside the drum. Weve called LG and they sent a technician to our house. He couldnt replicate the loud disturbing noise so he vacuumed out the dryer vent line and called it good. Technician didnt note a problem so we are stuck with this obnoxious dryer. If the dryer wasnt so expensive I would throw the dryer out on the street for trash pick up. I just called LG back to see if there is anything to do and they want to send another technician out to my house. I feel they are wasting my time because the problem isnt constant but seems like its part of a cycle. All I know is they are sending out another technician to fix a terrible problem

quiet operation and huge load capacity

Ive had this about 2 weeks with the matching dryer. Everything works well and is quiet however the pre-programmed wash types are a little confusing. They arent explained at all. for example there is one called Towels. It automatically sets the water temp and spin cycle but its still unclear.

Quality isnt easily found in todays products. Gone are the years of brand loyalty and longevity. This has not been my experience with LG products. High-end features cycle flexibility outstanding capacity and quiet operation have been my experience with this LG dryer. I would highly recommend this product.

My old washer was ten years old and rusting where you add bleach. Rust would drip on clothing and it could not be repaired. I had liked the old washer very much until this time. I read reviews on the new version of the brand I ownednot LG and reviews were not very good. Someone recommended LG to me I did my research on the product and decided to give it a try. Its been great Love all the features and ease of use. I also purchased the dryer. The Steamfresh option is my very favorite. The capacity of the LG Washer and dryer are amazing. I also love the sensing functionality where at the beginning of the cycle the LG senses how large the load is so it knows how large of a load it needs to plan for. This allows for the most economical usage.

We purchased the Washer Dryer combo set from Costco. They were the floor models so are in need of a minor service call but came at a great price. Thanks to the instructions being very good I was able to change the hinge on the door from right to left. I am recovering from recent back surgery so I am unable to remove the old set from the basement and get the new set installed and have to rely on others for help. This has yet to happen so this new set is still in my garage and not being used at this time. But the color scheme was to my wives liking and the biggest selling point for both of us was the large capacity of both units LG reputation and also the COSTCO scrutiny. We cant wait to use them and enjoy being able to wash our bed comforter at home instead of the laundromat.
