I bought this refrigerator 2 years ago. Shortly after I bought it i had to have it repaired. Now the freezer is over freezing my food and making a knocking noise. I also bought the frigidaire gallery stove/oven. The glass cook top does not clean up well and looks terrible. I did use the cleaner/protectant before I used it the first time and clean it regularly but some of the stains done come off. My neighbor has the same stove and has the same problem. I am more than disappointed in these appliances.

Deli drawer guides failed

We purchased this refrigerator in October 2016, about two years ago. It is the perfect size for the space available in our kitchen. We are very happy with the operation of the refrigerator. The storage is maximized for the size of the refrigerator and we have not had any mechanical issues. About five months ago, the deli drawer guide on the underside of the middle shelf broke off at the back of the shelf. I removed the shelf and crazy glued the plastic, but it failed within a week. Then I tried a binder clip to clip the drawer guide to the shelf, which lasted for about two months. The shelf guide is now in several pieces and beyond repair, so the drawer now sits on top of the shelf. I am looking to replace the shelf with the deli drawer guides, or broken deli drawer guide.

Freezer door issues.

Although the fridge looks nice, it has issues. For starters, it does not accurately maintain temperatures. Also, as other users have stated, there is an issue with the seal on the freezer door. No matter what I do or what I adjust, I am getting frost build up at the top front of the freezer. This indicates that air is getting into the freezer. This causes a mess in the freezer and a mess on the floor when the frost/ice falls out when you open the freezer. Unfortunately, Frigidaire is NOT taking responsibility and recognizing that this is a design flaw with the unit.

It has plenty of room. It is loud, with odd noises. The freezer stays shut but only if you really have to make sure you've closed it. The refrigerator door closes fine. From what I've read of the reviews, the noises and freezer door are flaws in the design. Hard to believe all new refrigerators make so many noises. Should have read the reviews before I bought it.

The refrigerator looks nice. Customer service response on phone was good. Cabinet is black; only door is stainless steel. Stainless steel door is not smudge proof. Freezer door swings all the way open--won't stay in place when you let go of the handle--yet the refrigerator door stays in place. Unable to level it (had repair man out). Recommended temperature in freezer did not keep ice cream hard - had to set it colder. No light in freezer. Glass shelves are not spill proof. Door shelves are flimsy. Small amount of ice forms inside upper freezer door and cabinet (repair man said this is normal.) Manual doesn't tell you how to move the wire shelf in freezer nor how to remove the cold cut meet drawer. This replaces a 16 year old refrigerator, and the quality isn't as good nor is the warranty as long.

I bought this refrigerator last month when our 20 year old refrigerator stopped cooling. Even though it is a garage refrigerator, it is a godsend. The last one really didn't work right from day one. This one we got a good deal on and was an in stock stainless steel model. I was concerned about the stainless steel, but I found a cleaner that does a great job on removing finger and hand prints. We picked up this refrigerator ourselves. The most difficult part of our experience was getting the Blue film off the entire refrigerator, but overall we are very, very happy with our experience and we highly recommend the it.

FFTR1821 very annoying 60Hz humming

This is by far the loudest fridge I have ever owned. It has a very loud and annoying humming noise (at approx. 60Hz or so) whenever it runs The humming noise seems to originate from the freezer area, rather than the bottom where the compressor is located. I entertained myself and measured the noise level at 50-60 dBa . Either way , it can be heard two rooms over , and in the bedroom through the closed bedroom door.If it wasn't for that noise I would easily give 4 stars. Unfortunately, Home Depot and Frigidaire have not been very accommodating regarding this issue with a one day old fridge. Home Depot refuses to take it back, and Frigidaire will charge if tech finds that noise is normal (subjective by ear, with no use of dBA-meter.). ....and finally there was Terri from the Frigidaire Service department: "Oh yeah our fridges can be noisy, and it is considered to be normal".

I love my new fridge! My appliance in Florida was all Frigidaire stainless steel finish beautiful. When I sold the house is was one of the things I hated to leave but I known I could relay on purchasing new ones, which I've had now for a month 1/2, so far its working great. It keeps food at the correct temperature and runs quietly and the freezer in this one is spacious, Love it.

We bought this fridge about a month ago. It is a nice looking appliance and so far it keeps food cold and frozen, but it is so noisy that it drives us crazy. I have leveled it several times, but nothing helps. On a good day it sounds like a microwave running. On bad days it sounds like an old window air conditioner running. A lot of the noise comes from the freezer fan. This is the first new fridge we have ever bought and we are so disappointed.

Bought this fridge almost a year ago and it has always had a water puddle laying on the top shelf. I'm not real quick with dealing with some problems so it took me a while to call customer service. The rep was very polite and made an appointment for me to have a service person come out to look at the refridgerator. I just made it under the 1 year warranty that came with the fridge, :) Over all the fridge keeps things cold and frozen but it is on the small side and I wish the half drawer could be switched to the other side as I switched the handles to the right side of the doors when we installed it. This refrigerator would be fine for a single person or small kitchen but is not big enough for a "family".

I bought a home and this refrigerator was included in the kitchen. All the kitchen appliances are Frigidaire and brand new. From the first day, the refrigerator didnot get cold nor did the freezer work. I spoke with the customer service rep @ Frigidaire who was very helpful and arranged for a serviceman to come & look at the Frig.. A relay switch was defective, replaced, and the refrig / freezer has worked well since then. However, what I'm finding now is that the shelves on the refrigerator won't stay in place if there is any items on the shelves and you open or close the door, the shelf and any thing in it falls off and to the floor or the inside of the refrigerator. Right now, I've taken the shelf off the door.
